Greenwood Leflore Hospital operates a state-of-the-art Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, located on the main campus. Physical Therapists oversee development and implementation of treatment plans for a wide variety of problems, including postoperative orthopedic and neurosurgical conditions, athletic injuries, gait and strength training, balance issues and many other needs. Occupational therapists can assist with daily challenges following surgery or stroke and provide relief from such conditions as carpal tunnel syndrome and neuropathies. The facility also houses a Wellness Center with a large collection of weight and workout equipment.
Inpatient physical and occupational therapy is available to hospitalized patients upon their physician’s request. A team of licensed therapists can come to your room to evaluate your needs, help you with ambulation and strengthening exercises and develop a course of therapy to be followed after discharge. For more extensive rehab needs, the Leflore Rehab wing is designed for extended stays that will include several hours of intense physical therapy and occupational therapy daily.
