Greenwood Leflore Hospital is a non-profit healthcare organization which exists to provide high quality, cost-effective healthcare service in partnership with its medical staff to the residents of Leflore County and surrounding communities in North Central Mississippi.

Our Vision

We believe that Greenwood Leflore Hospital should use its location, competitive position, and the strength and breadth of its medical staff to become a regional medical center serving the residents of Leflore and surrounding counties in north central Mississippi. The hospital and its outreach centers should provide high-quality, cost-effective, primary and secondary healthcare services.

Greenwood Leflore Hospital is licensed for 25 acute care beds and 10 rehab beds. The hospital has been providing medical services for the residents of Greenwood, Mississippi and surrounding communities for more than 100 years.

The Greenwood Leflore Hospital service area population is approximately 300,000 people.

The hospital continuously makes significant investments to make patient care more efficient and safer, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.

The Emergency Department has 15 treatment beds, 8 fast track beds, plus stand-alone x-ray and lab services. The Emergency Department sees approximately 22,400 visits annually and the hospital sees an average of 2,077 admissions annually.
