On October 26, 2021 Greenwood Leflore Hospital entered into an exclusive partnership with Lakeland Radiologists to provide all modalities of radiologic testing with coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The partnership has improved response time with critical results reported directly to the referring physician, reducing delays and improving quality of patient care.
Lakeland Radiologists has been a leading provider of radiology and imaging services in Mississippi for nearly 60 years. Their practice includes over 25 radiologists, 20 fellowship trained with 12 interventionalists and 11 mammographers in addition to other focuses. All modalities of radiologic testing are read by subspecialists. Committed to improve overall service to clinicians and facilities through technology coupled with increased focus on sub-specialization of radiology expertise, they specialize in interventional, MRI, neuroradiology, mammography, breast MRI and women’s health, cardiac imaging, and musculoskeletal areas. Interventional procedures are provided on-site. Radiologists trained in Interventional Radiology can be consulted for biopsies, injections and more complicated procedures performed with up-to-date equipment.
