Greenwood Leflore Hospital provides a network of family practice clinics in Greenwood, Itta Bena, Sumner, Lexington and Kilmichael. Staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners, these clinics see everyone in the family, from children to the elderly. These professionals manage chronic medical problems such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity and heart disease and also acute conditions such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal problems, minor injuries and skin disease. If the primary care provider diagnoses something that requires the services of a specialist, that can be arranged through the Greenwood Leflore Hospital network. The clinics operate on an appointment basis but walk-in care is frequently available as well.

Patients of all ages can receive treatment of common problems that require a doctor’s visit, such as low grade fever, coughing congestion and runny nose, ear aches, rashes and other problems associated with high blood pressure and diabetes.
